Kicking off Summer!
Just a few pictures to try and update what we have been up to the past couple of months...all is good and I am actually going to be home, in town with my family for 1 entire month straight. I cannot wait!
Say, didn't we go on a cruise?
The last week of April the entire clan of Blu's (Grammy, Papa, Shawn, Kelli, Cole & Kenleigh) departed for a Mexican getaway! We set sail on a cruise from LA and enjoyed a week of sun and surf in Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta. I was unsure about the kids on a cruise ship and the small cabins and the massive amounts of people...but they surprised me, as they always do, and did great!
With so many fun things to do on the boat there was never a dull moment. Cole took a liking to the Arcade and we spent a lot of money on games and our favorite...Guitar Hero! I stand by my statement that Cole will be a rock star long befor he is a sports super star. He loves music, listenting to it...playing it...watching it being performed. He is my band geek, in such a cool little boy way. We are considering guitar lessons here soon...he and Daddy want to take them together!Here is Sis on the road trip over to LA...taking care of her baby like a good mama.
The kids were so excited when we got on the boat. We all headed up to the pool deck to say Bon Voyage! Live music and my kids go hand in hand. Their dancing feet were groovin'!
When we woke up Sunday morning it was Easter! Luckily the Easter Bunny remembered to deliver the kids Easter baskets on the boat...they were so excited when they woke up and found them. The boat of course didn't disappoint with Easter festivities. Cole jumped in for a photo and K just got kind of scared. Oversized characters in costume are an accquired taste I suppose.
Plenty of time was spent in the pool too, of course! These kids and their goggles crack me up. They look so ridiculous in this picture but are having the time of their lives!

There was no shortage of food during the cruise! A few fun moments from meals...
The other joy of cruises are the fun towel animals they make in your room every night at turndown. The kids would so look forward to getting back to the room to see what was waiting for them. Here they are with a few of their favs! 
It was such a fun trip and a ton of amazing memories were made, all thanks to Grammy & Papa. Thank you so much, we love you guys!
